Setup & Installation

Run install script: `curl -fsSL https://openclaw.ai/install.sh | bash`

Configure Model: Run `openclaw onboard` to select model provider (Claude/OpenAI recommended)

Enable Channel: Edit `~/.openclaw/openclaw.json` to add whatsapp config

Scan Login: Run `openclaw channels login --account default` and scan QR with phone WhatsApp

Start Service: `openclaw gateway start`

Permission: Confirm file access popup on computer (first time only)

Important Notes

  • Use WhatsApp Business account to reduce ban risk
  • macOS requires 'Full Disk Access' for terminal
  • Enable Sandbox mode to protect system security
  • One WhatsApp account binds to one instance only
